About the event
Come join the JMMTA community as we celebrate Losar (Tibetan New Year) and the Museum's spring reopening!
We will open the celebration with a talk from Dr. Chok on Losar, it's significance and meaning, followed by a New Year blessing. We will then do an incense offering followed by changing of the museum's flags ceremony. Finally, we will conclude with dinner and traditional dancing. For dinner, we will be serving momos (Tibetan dumplings) and rice dishes, with vegetarian and gluten free options available.
Saturday March 4 - 2 PM (Tai Chi moved to 12 PM)
